Klaster Safe - Tutorial

Short Klaster Safe Tutorial

Learn how to use Klaster Safe in this short tutorial!

Give your Safe cross chain subaccounts - One Safe to rule them all.

Click on the link above to watch the short video on how to connect your Safe!

In this tutorial, the Safe is located on Optimism and a cross chain account is created on Polygon.

1. Go to safe.klaster.io
2. Click on “Try Klaster Beta”
3. Paste your Safe address and make sure the right network is selected
4. Click on “Launch Klaster in Safe” and your Safe app will open
5. Make sure you read the disclaimers and accept the terms
6. Create your first Cross Chain Account by clicking on “Deploy Now”
7. Make sure your Safe has enough gas for the transaction

8. Select the networks you want to deploy to - Some networks are not directly connected to each other and the messages are relayed through Ethereum. This makes the transaction more expensive. Watch your gas!

9. In this video tutorial the Safe is deployed on Optimism and the Cross Chain Account is deployed only on Polygon
10. Click on Deploy and sign the transaction
11. Once the transaction is executed, an account is automatically created on your source chain - the destination chain account (in this case, Polygon) will take some time to deploy.
12. On the left hand side find your cross chain transaction and check its status on CCIP explorer
13. Once the transaction has been processed by CCIP, and execute on the destination chain, your Cross Chain Account is available
14. You can now send and receive funds on remote chains, while signing the transactions on your Source chain (where your Safe Account is)
